We had a great experience at Bar Tulia in Mercato. We ordered a small pizza and wine. We sat outside on the patio, which was very cozy and had a great ambiance. Our sever was attentive and checked on us frequently.
Outdoor dining can't be beat. Area is private and covered in twinkle lights. Inside looked cozy with brick walls and bright lighting. Service was relatively good. Food came fast from the kitchen but waitress was a bit slow with taking orders and checking on us. She made some great drink recommendations. Special banana bread bourbon drink had aromatic spices. Old fashioned was best I have had in a while. Very smooth bourbon and not too sweet. Shared a pizza, salad and Bolognase. They change their menu so this was the new fall line up. Salad has plenty of sweet pear and crunchy crotons and was dressed perfectly. Pizza crust was airy and tasty with yeasty notes and a perfect bite I believe the prosciutto was topped with a sherry or brandy mayonnaise. My party was sceptic but ended up being their favorite dish. I loved every salty and sweet bite myself. The Bolognase was served with fresh al dente noodles and the sauce was a balance of sweet and tangy and was devoured by all 3 of us quickly. Consistent experience from the service to the ambience to the food and drinks. A must try.
It was good good environment a little loud but busy. We started with the meatballs good flavor but they were overcooked and dry even with the sauce. I was going to order the short rib but the bartender told me it was very fatty so I passed and ordered the chicken parm instead. I am glad I did because it was really good tender chicken lots of cheese and the marinara had good flavor. My wife got the cavatappi which was pasta, pesto, and shrimp. The portion was kind of small but my wife liked the flavors I wasn't a fan. Overall it was a good experience. We would eat here again if in the area.
Food was very good but expensive. It is always bothersome to have wait staff try to clear my plate when the table is not done eating... I must have told six different people... please clear when everyone is done. Is this not taught anymore? Looks like they have not finished installing a bunch of electric on the covered area... loose wiring is all over the ceiling. Wondered how they had the permit for outside dining with all these exposed and uncapped wires.
Stopped in at 9:30 when the kitchen was closing and they were nice enough to seat us and take our order. They stayed until we were done and we closed down the restaurant. Great ambiance and the staff was very nice. The food was delicious. We had small bites to share. Ceasar salad, charcuterie board , and pizza. It was all delicious.

Yes, good place. Excellent location. They had Rowro Arnes wine which speaks for the owner's taste in wines. Red Dish was excellent. Kids had pizza. Pizza choices were great.
During a Naples staycation we were walking around the Mercato and decided to try Bar Tulia and what a great surprise. Flavors were great, service was super nice, she explained everything to us and made great recommendations!
